Alaskan Native Arts featured in this famous Tlingit artist Amos Wallace, circa 1920s, at a 4th of July parade in Juneau, Alaska.  Amos was one of a few Native people making Tlingit art in the mid-twentieth century.  He made totem poles for Disneyland and museums around the world.  He also appeared on the Tonight Show with Jack Paar and talked about Tlingit art and culture! Sealaska Heritage is a Native nonprofit serving the Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian people of Southeast Alaska.  Photo from Sealaska Heritage s archives.  Donated by Brian Wallace.
